It's almost like having a sponsor.
Yakima rules. I called them up last week to order about $25 worth of replacement parts and new keys for our car's bike rack. They FedExed them to me FREE. I didn't even pay for shipping. Buy their racks!
We had to take the rack off the car in July. Driving into 40mph headwinds for several hours through the Columbia River Gorge pushed the rack (and the two bikes on it) several inches from its original location on the roof of the car. Kinda scary. So we took the rack off to clean and patch it up. Now the rack is back on the roof (thanks Dave!), and we no longer have to cram bikes into the back seat. Not to mention that our nondescript little car is now much easier to spot from a distance.
