More extremely petty larceny at the Y
I was short a plastic bag at the gym today and needed one for my wet swimsuit. The roll of produce bags nearest to me was empty, so I had to traverse the locker room to find the other roll. I grabbed a bag and then watched in disbelief as an older lady pulled maybe 10 or 12 bags off the roll and stuffed them in her purse.
Someone please explain this to me. You get the bags free when you buy vegetables. You could probably even double-bag your broccoli to get a few extras. Why steal them? From the YMCA of all places?
