Hello. Is this the right Ariel? Did you by any chance used to own a copy of the Smiths "Louder Than Bombs" songbook?

Me: Hm. That's probably me. Did you somehow end up with the book?

I purchased the book for $0.50 last October at a library book sale in the city of Claremont. I play guitar and had hoped to learn some Johnny Marr riffs, but the book didn't really help. Anyway, I put the book aside until a couple of weeks ago when I decided to sell it on eBay. I saw your name on the inside of the cover, googled it and sent you an email. No reason why really, it's just something I do when I see people's names on things.

Me: That's funny. I would have done the same.

(Minus the part about emailing the googlee. Google-ee?)

But FIFTY CENTS? I hope my googler gets more than that on eBay. I paid at least $20 when I bought that songbook back in 1990 primarily so I could learn to play "Asleep" on the piano. Must remember to talk to my mom about unloading my books at the library.
